I see Unbound bringing warmth and a sense of movement to a bedroom, hallway or favourite reading corner. The dancer reaches upward as her skirt sweeps across the canvas in rust, terracotta and muted rose. Her black bodice and the natural colour of the raw canvas give the flowing colour a simple, balanced setting.
Part of my Dancing Angels Series, Unbound holds a moment of dance in an open, expansive gesture. Fine lines describe the figure, while broad, textured marks carry the movement of her skirt beyond the body. The exposed canvas leaves space around her, making the sweep of colour feel all the more free.
