Every Original is One of a Kind

Each original painting is a unique, hand-made work — not a reproduction. It is painted by me on professional cotton canvas or fine art paper, and exists as a single object in the world. When you acquire an original, you are acquiring the work itself.

Signature Practice

Every original painting is signed and dated by hand on the front or back of the canvas or paper once the painting is finished. The signature is part of the work.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every original painting ships with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. The certificate records:

• The title of the work
• The medium and support (e.g. mixed media on cotton canvas or fine art paper)
• The dimensions
• The year completed
• My hand-written signature

Provenance

Provenance is the documented ownership history of a work. For pieces acquired directly from me — through this store or by commission — the purchase record and Certificate of Authenticity together form the primary provenance document. I encourage collectors to keep these safe alongside any correspondence related to the work.
